The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, has been on the map of higher education for more than three decades. Gujarat University B.Com First Year Admission List July 2010

The Gujarat University is the statewide institution affiliating many reputed colleges across the state of Gujarat, India. It has been given a B++ ranking by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It is one of the best and most versatile higher education institutions in India. Also, it is one of the largest university systems in the subcontinent with over 224,000 students on its campus and at various affiliated colleges. It is particularly well known for its Medical, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Commerce and Management colleges. CCB AIEEE Seat Allotment Results 2010 (Round 3)

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India took a policy decision in 2002 to conduct an All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) annually, doing away with many of the large number of entrance examinations that were being conducted till then by various institutes in the country for admission to undergraduate degree programmes in the disciplines of Engineering / Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture. This initiative has been widely accepted and appreciated.
A Central Counselling Board (CCB) constituted by the Govt. of India coordinates admissions to UG degree programmes in the disciplines mentioned above in respect of select institutions. This year’s CCB has been constituted with Director, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, as its Chairman.

Uttar Pradesh Polytechnic Joint Entrance Exam (JEEC) Counseling Schedule 2010

Joint Entrance Examination Council, U.P., Lucknow was established in 1986 under the societies Act 1860 to conduct Entrance Examination for admission to various Diploma level Engineering courses offered in Polytechnics and other institutions affiliated to Board of technical Education U.P. Lucknow. It is a self-financed autonomous body. The Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Govt. of U.P. is the Ex-Officio Chairman of this Council. A senior officer of the rank of Joint Director/Principal is deputed to shoulder the responsibilities of the post of Secretary of this organisation. The council conducts Joint Entrance Examination every year in the month of May to select candidates for admission to various Polytechnics.
