CBSE Class XII Compartmental Exam Results 2010

The Central Board of Secondary Education is the most eminent board of school education in India. The CBSE prepares the syllabus for Class 1 to Class 12 in schools affiliated with it.It conducts two major examinations every year, the All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) for Class 10 and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 12, which is a school-leaving examination. Many private schools within and outside India are affiliated to CBSE. The medium for education prescribed by CBSE is either English or Hindi.The CBSE also conducts the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) which is a common entrance examination conducted on all-India basis for admission to engineering and architecture/planning programmes in the country. Similarly Pre-medical test AIPMT is conducted for medical programmes. Syllabus and methodology of CBSE makes it convenient for students to opt for pure sciences, medicine or engineering. Most of the students who pass competitive examinations like IITJEE and AIEEE, hold scholarships from KVPY or win science and mathematics olympiads are nurtured at CBSE.

This is the distinctive feature of the State. All the colleges offering Pre-University Education come under the control of Department of Pre-University Education.

The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. This Board is one in India which, from the very start, had adopted 10+2 system of examination. The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination. Prior to 1923, University of Allahabad was the examining body of these two examinations.In view of the ever multiplying load of work in successive years, the Board had been experiencing considerable difficulty in controlling and conducting its activities centrally from Allahabad.

Karnataka Board (KSEEB) SSLC Supplementary Exam Results 2010

Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board came in to existence in the year 1966, has been conducting SSLC and other examinations. Every year the students strength is increasing tremendously.For the academic year – March 2009 about 8.69 Lakhs students are appearing for the SSLC examinations. The board has been successfully conducted the examination since it was established.The board has decided to improve the evaluation system and the results, every year the quantum of the boards examination has been increasing and hence divisional offices of the Board have been set up in order to centralize the students needs.

Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education Class XII (Plus Two) Exam Revaluation Results 2010

The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education came into existence in 1969 through an Act No.14 of 1968. Until 1982, the Board had its headquarter at Shimla, which was subsequently shifted to Dharamshala in Kangra District in 1983. The Headquarter of Education Board Dharamshala is located at the foothills of the Dhauladhar ranges of western Himalayas overlooking picturesque Kangra valley of Himachal Pradesh.

The Education Board prescribes syllabi, courses of instructions and text books for school education in Himachal Pradesh besides conducting examinations based on such courses. At present, the Board conducts examinations for the 8th,10th, Plus One and Plus Two classes. In addition, departmental examination like J.B.T., T.T.C and P.V.T.C are also being conducted by the Board. As many as 4.5 lac candidates annually appear in the examinations conducted by the Board .
